i'm wanting to renovate around here. but for now, i'll just post random pictures until i figure out what i want to do. the pictures were my evening.

Husband's gone into the field for a long long time. i'm dealing with it pretty well. i can't go where he goes, but he knows my heart goes with him. the best way to look after him at this point is to just look after myself. i go through my days focused and i come home and look after the house and everything else in it as i should.

the cat seems to miss him a great deal. he goes to the door in a great hurry when he hears keys outside. then, when no one comes through the door, he skulks back to his place on the floor. he cries and complains to me about everything.

i just say, "i know. i miss him, too."
