i don't sketch the things i design nearly enough. i've been sketching new designs for a website at work for about an hour and it's going well, truth be told, as i'm trying to come up with dozens of interations for one thing. it's heartening that i can think it all up. too often, i go over these ideas in my head (in the shower, in that space before sleep, chopping vegetables) and decide on the one that i deem best at that moment. then what do i find? that i can't stand it and i scrap it.

the Wolf and i bought The Dresser yesterday. i need to take pictures of our apartment. it's a totally bitchin' pad and has been, until round about yesterday, impossibly messy in some areas. with the entrance The Dresser, order seems visible in most things. my opinion on our local thrift store has been completely altered. not only did it provide us with a to-die-for retro dresser, it blessed our home with a can't-be-busted electric mixer.

The Wolf has also acquired a blender. pardon me, Blender. Blender is a gorgeous glass and metal creature that lives on the countertop, happy to be placed on display. we are in smoothie heaven with dear Blender; i kind of had a hunch that Blender wouldn't come to us via wedding-registry means.

less than three months to our wedding onaSaturday. i can't wait.
