i find it sad that all CNN has to talk about is terrorism, war, and Uncle Jesse's failed marriage.

i met some soldiers last night who just returned Saturday from Iraq; friends of the Wolf. i was glad that they finally got to come home, but also vexed as they could be sent back just as soon as their leave is up.

Iraqis all over the country feel differently. in some places, they love our solidiers enough to offer them freebies at shops. in others, children pitch huge rocks at the soldiers' heads.

"You have more injuries from rocks than anything else."

i've been keeping myself busy the last 24 hours. we found a new apartment we just had to jump on. a walkup above a restaurant with hardwood floors. it's perfect and very cool. move in day is May 15th. i'm very used to moving alone and this instance is really no different. you just take care of it. you just do it.
