About Amanda
I have always wanted to be an artist. When I was a little girl, it was my dream to be just what I am today: someone who creates art for a living.
Fortunately along the way, that little girl grew into a teenage nerd who was constantly getting in trouble with her folks for staying up into the wee hours of the morning messing around with websites. Over 10 years ago, when I still lived at home, my dad was weekly finding his hard-headed daughter coding away in spite of his demands that she GO TO BED.
These days, dad finds it funny that I am now paid to do what once got me in trouble. I still love my work and I throw myself into it, passionately, day or night.
I'm married to a wonderful guy named Evan and we live with our two kitties, Carbon and Tungsten, in Tennessee. I love designing (and I love XHTML & CSS more than should be socially acceptable) but I also love food and wine, Bikram yoga, writing, rubber stamps, knitting, and autumn.
